Victorian All Schools Athletics Championships

A huge congratulations to Year 8 student Alec Franzke who represented our school at the last 2 weekends in Melbourne in the Victorian All Schools Athletics Championships. He came 4th in the 1500m and 2nd in the 3000m. This now qualifies him to represent Victoria at the National All Schools Athletics Championships in Adelaide in December.

Exams

It has been lovely to see so many of our Year 12 students (and some of our year 11 students who are also doing Year 12 subjects) come back into school to let their teachers know how they did on their exams.  We have heard lots of positive exam stories from our students which is wonderful to hear - kudos to our staff and students!  

Forensics & Psychology 9/10 with Mr Davies

Students in this class are exploring the structure of the brain.  On Friday last week, students dissected a sheep's brain to identify the parts of the brain.

Year 7 Science

Ms Janson and Mr Matheson's year 7 science classes participated in a Soda Rocket experiment. They attached the fishing line between the two goalposts and the students spread out across the oval to time the rocket. The aim was to record the speed of the rocket at each attempt and to collate the data between the 2 classes.
