The cook book will make a wonderful Christmas gift for family members with easy to follow recipes and very colourful illustrations. 

Year 4 Stewardship Program

The year four students have been working on creating a jingle for upcoming National Recycling Week. They have used tunes that they know well, eg ABC song, changed the lyrics to deliver a message about recycling, and accompanied it with music created with natural materials and body percussion. We hope to share some of these with you  - their ideas and creativity are quite astounding.

Year 3 Garden helpers

We have mentioned in previous newsletters the interest and concern of some of the year 3 students on the environment and in particular our school garden. These year 3 students have taken it upon themselves to be guardians of the garden, reminding other students to be aware when balls go into the garden space that they have to be careful not to tread on the plants, and be careful with the fence surrounding the garden. These garden guardians have begun making signs to erect on the fence to make others aware of their behaviour. I congratulate Talia I who used her spare time to make these posters, and together with her friend Kiara K, they are making a difference and putting their words into action.
