What a fabulous time we are having lately, even when it rains we find lots of things to do. Back in August we used what we had learnt at the Nursery to make our own cuttings. It was a great activity to do indoors that morning.

We cut stems at a growth nodule, removed leaves, dipped it in honey (well that was the plan; but we poured honey over them once we had planted them anyway). Now those seedlings have grown very tiny roots (very, very tiny) but we transplanted them to tubes so we could sell them. Hopefully they will continue to grow!

Two weeks ago we propagated succulents and planted out the beautifully decorated pots that Art Club had painted. (you may have seen this in the last newsletter).

Last week, we harvested our vegie crop to sell at the Art Show.  Between the pots and the vegies we raised $210. This is going to go back to the art and garden club so that we can buy more great supplies for our various activites. The children in Gardening Club are thinking what to plant next... ?????  Hmmm I wonder.

Don't forget to come to our stall on Remembrance day and buy one of our rosemary plants or a sprig of rosemary to pin to your collar. All money raised goes back in to the club so we can buy and grow more fabulous goodies.

Cheers for now
