YEAR 6 DIVISIONAL BASKETBALL

After winning the Murdoch District Basketball competition last term, on Tuesday 18th October,  the Year 6 Girls competed at the Divisional finals. Their first game was against Rowellyn Primary School. Both teams played extremely well, with the lead changing many times. Unfortunately the girls lost 22 – 21. The second game again St Johns was just as tough. St Johns went out to an early lead, but the girls fought back strongly to be level with only 1 minute to play. Once again, the girls narrowly missed winning the game 18 – 16.

Congratulations and well done to:

6/5 - Lexie Betinsky, Chelsea Hallas, Victoria Magock

6/7 - Chloe Madigan, Bridie Campbell, Olivia Burridge (absent on the day)

6/8 - Ava Wright
