Year 12 Celebration Day

By Michelle Farrand (Head of VCE)

Another 13 years of school has come to an end for our Year 12 students. This week we got the chance to celebrate another amazing group of Year 12, and celebrate we did!

After a full day of classes, decorating commenced on Monday night, followed by a Subway dinner for sustenance.

Tuesday morning began early with celebrations and a cooked breakfast in the restaurant. Thank you to Mr Booth, Mrs Webster and their team for a hearty breakfast.

Students arrived in clever and colourful dress ups ready to enjoy the day. This was a terrific celebration. Mr Davidson shared some highlights and notable events from the students' time here at BHCS, we had heartfelt student reflections and a good laugh at some home made videos.

After the past two years we were thrilled to be able to honour our students with a whole school assembly. It was awesome to see so many visitors at school to celebrate with students.

More videos, student speeches, and an address from our Principal, Peter Cliffe reminding students to “Make the most important thing, the most important thing” followed. A special reappearance by the Belgrave Man Band was particularly entertaining.

Our Year 12’s were then prayed over and given their Guard of Honour from the entire school and community.

We are so proud of this group - they are fun, resilient, strong and young people of good character and integrity.

Thanks for the awesome memories class of 2022!
