Mr. Carlyle's Message

Dear Families,

Spring, footy finals, September, and school holidays.... how did we get here so fast?

We have celebrated and achieved so much this term as a school and a community.  The school is looking fantastic with the turn of the season, a big shout out to our groundsman Jarrod for all he has done in this space. I can also announce the successful acquisition of a grant submission with Landcare Victoria, which will see the revitalisation of native vegetation around our boundary fencing.  A big thank you to Val Turner, Zac, and the team from Bunnings who have supplied and built three of four new garden beds next to our basketball court, with a Mozaic to take shape in our junior outdoor eating space.

From the principal's desk, I reflect enthusiastically on what has been a great term.  Parent-teacher interviews, our first working bee, the open maths afternoon, science week, book week, the school concert, 3/4 Camp, and a junior excursion to the Aquarium.  That is all on top of the great teaching and support that our dedicated staff have delivered throughout the term. The community vibe is alive and well, and as the weather improves and we look ahead to term 4, I can not wait to continue to see our families involved with our school activities.
