Senior Years

Senior Years Examination Schedules
As we near the end of the first semester, students and classes in the senior years are also starting to prepare for their mid-year examinations. For Year 10s this round of examinations will be their first experience and students are encouraged to see them as a way of practising for the years ahead. It is a chance to familiarise themselves with how to remember and apply information from a variety of topics covered in the first semester. It is also a chance for Year 10 students to learn and experience the processes and procedures involved. It is a very new and different experience for some! Both the Year 10 and 11 examinations will take place in Week 9 of this term. Letters will be going home to each year level to outline key information for the week.
Year 12 students will have their examinations in Week 10 which is the first week of the student break.
The examination schedules are attached here. Should you have any further questions please direct them to the relevant Year Level Leader. We wish all students every success as they practice their revision and examination skills. Revision techniques that work for one person may not work for another and so students are encouraged to develop their Independence and take responsibility for their own learning by considering and practicing a variety of techniques.
“Success is the sum of small efforts- repeated day in day out.” Robert Collier
