Parents & Kids Together 

For 6 weeks in Term 2 the PaKT team (Parents and Kids Together)  met in the school hall on Friday afternoons to work with students and parents/carers. Together they made a craft project each, learnt new things and met new people! 

We had a mix of students from Grade 4 to 6. Some are doing PaKT for the first time and others are PaKT veterans! There is such a great combo of Grandma’s, Mum’s, an Aunt and an older sister joining in this time!

The theme for Grade 3 is ‘family vacation’ and families used craft bits and recycled boxes to make their ideas come to life, working together closely. Some of the projects include a farm, a paradise beach, Bondi beach, a camp, a space vacation, a tree house with a hidden fairy garden, and Denber Land!  

Please say hi to the wonderful facilitators, Sarah and Dee, if you see them around the school this term.  They would love to have you in the group later in the year! 

Each class gets a turn – it’s often very popular and sometimes a waitlist has to be made! 

PAKT is a great opportunity to spend time with your family at school and to get 

crafty together!
