Australian Mathematics Competition
On Thursday 4 August a group of students in Grades 3-6 participated in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC). The AMC is an engaging 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives; it is open to students in years 3 to 12.
Australia’s leading educators and academics, with a deep understanding of our national curriculum standards, actively design the unique AMC problems each year.
Well done to those students who participated in the competition. It was a challenging but rewarding experience for all involved.
Bell Shakespeare at John Paul II
On Friday 5 August, the whole school had the opportunity to view a Bell Shakespeare production, The Wonderful World of Will. It was a very enjoyable show and was enjoyed by students and adults alike. We strapped ourselves in and journeyed back in time to Elizabethan England. Thankfully, no-one lost their head!
