Physical Education

This last week our Year 2 - 4 students have been enjoying heading off to Aquastar at Haileybury College for their swimming lessons program. All students have been doing a fantastic job in listening to instructors and developing their swimming capabilities. The last session, which will be on Friday the 17th of June, will be focusing on water safety in and around the pool.

Our Prep to Year 1 students have been working hard completing activities in groups which have aimed to develop their fundamental motor skills such as throwing, catching, balancing, rolling, and dodging. It has been great to see students working so well in their groups and cheering each other on.

Years 3 - 6's have been expanding their knowledge and understanding of skills in AFL. There has been some very miserable weather lately, so students have been amazing at adapting and completing their AFL skills in the hall with the main focus being handballing.

On Tuesday the 31st of May we had 3 students represent Kingswood at the Division Cross Country Championship. These 3 students did extremely well in the cold weather and are set to do even better next year for Kingswood. Congratulations to Jade T (11th), Liam C (40th), and Flynn G (48th).
