SRC Update

The SRC's Talent Show was a huge success. All money raised will be going to the drought-stricken farmers in New South Wales to help them get through one of the worst droughts in decades. A number of students participated with a wide range of performances including; a solo singer, dancing, guitarist, pianist, cellist and finally the year 12 band. The finalists were as follows:

1st place - Angelina W. 8J

2nd place - Micheal M. 8C

3rd place Kyra L. 11B, Irene Li. 11K,  Nava A. 11B

Well done to all students who participated and donated to a good cause.

The SRC also organised a casual dress day that had the theme of dressing in your club colours or your passion or hobby uniform. The school raised $777 dollars that will now be sent to the doctors without borders charity.

Last Friday, 31 August, four student leaders also attended a VicSRC workshop. They learned about the wide variety of issues faced in schools and how staff and students can work together on to make school a better place for all.

SRC applications will also be starting in term 4 for next years SRC group. More information will follow.
