Wellbeing at QoP

A message from Mrs Te
Can you believe it's halfway through Term 1 already?
For some students school life is a breeze. Others find the transition stressful and this can affect the entire family.
Here are some tips to help manage back-to-school anxiety:
The Wellbeing Show
Last month the junior classes and their families attended a performance called The Wellbeing Show. During the performance presenters discussed ways to be healthy, having a P.E.T's (Positive Encouraging Thoughts) being confident and being kind.
The children truly enjoyed the show which linked beautifully with this term's Faith Life Inquiry Unit where children are learning about Well-being of the Person.
Here is a list of growth mindset mantras that the entire family can practice:
Harmony Day
On Wednesday 18 March we will celebrate Harmony Day. This is a day of cultural respect for everyone who calls Australia home. From our traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world.
Children can wear casual clothes but must wear something ORANGE to mark this day and will participate in activities throughout the day.
