Year 11 & 12 Update
Welcome all to another term at John Fawkner College. Although the next coming weeks will be virtual, I am eager to support the learning and engagement of the year 11 and 12 cohort during this difficult time.
Reflection on mid year exams
I would like to take this opportunity to thank staff for their involvement and contribution in setting up and supervising the mid-year exams. I would also like to congratulate students on their involvement, even during these tough times. I look forward to sharing these results with parents and families.

Assembly reminders
Just a reminder to all that we are moving to Flexible and Remote Learning as of Wednesday the 5th of August. Just a couple of points to take moving forward:
- The timetable for the rest of the term will remain the same (5 periods a day)
- Ensure you are attending all online classes - if you are absent please call the school and inform your teacher
- Ensure you upload all required work onto compass for each subject
- If you are having any issues with remote learning please send me a message on teams
- Self-care - please ensure you are looking after yourselves during this time! If you need to leave the screen for your breaks throughout the day, please do so. Go for a walk, get some fresh air! It is really important to keep up with regular physical activity (you'll find learning from home can be increase sedentary behaviour - so get up every so often!)
It has been an absolute pleasure as a Sub School Coach to watch each and every student grow throughout the year, and I look forward to seeing them develop even further as time goes on. Just remember, we are all in this together! Stay safe and until next time.
