WORK EXPERIENCE PROFILE

During the holidays a number of students participated in Work Experience placements.  Work Experience is a valuable opportunity to gain insights into an industry and the workplace. It provides students with the opportunity to develop employability skills, explore possible career options, understand employer expectations and increase their self-understanding, maturity, independence and self-confidence.

Jack Hoyle ‘aka’ Ted for the week, chose this term break to complete a week with the Mildura Truck Centre and the smile on his face gives a pretty clear clue he very much enjoyed the experience.

Jack is currently undertaking a VET course  - Certificate II in Electrotechnology, and now by gaining a positive experience in alternate industry has opened up his pathway options – so what will it be….Electrician or Diesel Mechanic!
