Physical Education

During Phys Ed lessons our Foundation and Year One students have been practicing their chest passes, scooping and rolling and hula hooping. They have participated in games including Mushroom Tiggy and Rob the Nest. The parachute games have been their favourite though, especially Cat and Mouse!

Basketball is very popular amongst our Year Two and Three students.

They’ve been participating in drills to develop their throwing and catching, dribbling and shooting skills. This week we put those skills into practice and played a game of basketball. All the teams worked well together and encouraged each other to try their best.

Our Year Four, Five and Six students got very competitive during a new game; Rock, Paper, Scissors hula hoops. The first team to jump into each hula hoop and make it to the end after winning their rounds of rock, paper, scissors are crowned the winners. This is harder than it sounds!
