Week 2 Term 3 Like the previous terms of 2020 Term 3 continues to raise challenges and so far we are coming up with solutions! The study groups are all working hard, and academic assistance is back running from Monday to Thursday. This has been a smaller attendance than usual but the students have been more focussed. Borrowing continues for both Junior and Senior School students with them using our catalogue Orbit (Junior), Oliver (Senior) to request items of interest. We are still not allowing physical browsing due to the slight risk it may pose. It is interesting to read reports from other schools who are simply not lending books as their response. Given how important reading is in terms of skill development we are willing to do the extra work our processes entail to keep our readers stocked.

Book Week:

Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge:

Well done to those reading voraciously. If your child is not participating, I would really encourage you to support them to join in. Every student is enrolled from Prep – 10 (Mrs O’Brien looks after ELC students). My immediate challenge is to get our new students, Marianna and Jack Novikov, into the system as I am still learning the new layout of the website! Marianna and Jack will receive an email each, as all our other students have with their username and password.
