Grade 2  students’ collage 

For the first week of this project, students learned the story of Henri Matisse and his Cut-Outs. Inspired by Matisse’s collage, students draw the outlines of the sea creatures. In the following week, students learned about “Painting with scissors” and created their collage. 

The results are amazing! Well done Grade 2

AKtive Games score update week 1

Week 1 of the AKtive Games has seen the amazing athletes of MPS compete in four different AKtive events. Speed Skipping, the Paper Plane Throw, Socks in the Basket and the Penguin Race. Students have shown their amazing skills throughout these events and I am extremely proud of their efforts to try their best and to never give up. Week 1 event scores have been calculated and the leading houses are listed below as well as 7 AKtive athletes who have continued to show the Super 6 Skills of Success.
