The second last week of last term was Wellbeing Week and a wide range of fun activities were organised throughout the week. The week began with dodge ball in the hall at lunch on Monday to promote physical wellbeing. On Tuesday morning there was a whole school free healthy breakfast, with a wide selection food available including, fruit, yoghurt, eggs on toast and pancakes, all of which was donated. It was a great atmosphere and it was fantastic to see so many people involved. We as a school community would like to thank all the businesses who donated including Newlanders IGA, Vines Road IGA, Born and Bread and the East Fruit Market. Without their generous donations this event would not have been possible. On Tuesday, there were also board games in the library at lunch. On Wednesday there was yoga during lunch, which aimed to promote both mental and physical wellbeing. A rice paper roll making workshop was held in the garden on Thursday for R U OK Day. This was another fantastic activity as it allowed students to bond with each other in a friendly environment, whilst enjoying rice paper rolls.
