Year 9

iCity

On Monday 18 April  the first of the five Year 9 ‘iCity’ excursions took place. The students headed to the city for a day of independent exploration.  After negotiating peak hour rail services, the students met at Federation Square at which point they were given their instructions for the day. They moved around the city in groups of four visiting fourteen places of interest. They were able to choose their mode of transport and plot their own route. All students did an excellent job navigating their way to the specified locations, using their iPad for navigation and also to record their experiences.

Our elected Year 9 Semester One Class Captains have continued to perform their duties to an exemplary level. They are often called upon to play a support role for their Homeroom Teacher and also to assist with administrative and leadership tasks. The students are:
