Outside Classroom Day

"On Thursday the 1st of November middle B was learning about measurement but we just focused on meters for the day. Before we went out side we picked our groups, we had 5 minutes to come up with a way to remember how long a meter is. Some groups used feet, books, clipboards or rulers but my group used unifix cubes. Once we got out side we all had to find a place to measure equipment. My group went to the little kids playground. 3 things we measured were the length of the monkey bars witch was 2 meters and 15 cubes. The fire hydrant witch was 49 cubes, and one of the wooden benches witch was 2 meters 7 cubes. Then we went in side and shared what we wrote. I hope you enjoyed my recount about measurement. Thanks for listening".

Comfy Clothes Day

Today we celebrated our Positive Acknoledgements with a Comfy Clothes Day! Students celebrated their hard work collecting feathers for showing respect, resilience and excellence by wearing comfy clothes to school.

“On the 2nd of November  Kilsyth primary had there comfy clothes day. Its kids get to dress up in comfy clothes. At the start of the day a grade 4 named Tirone came in and showed his dog named Dexter.  It was a wet timetable and everyone stayed inside and played” - Christopher Way
