Resource Centre

The last two weeks of Term 1 were extremely busy for students exchanging their library books and stocking up with some great reads for the Easter holiday break. It was great to see so many fiction and non-fiction books across so many genres being borrowed in addition to many graphic novels and magazines being chosen to read in the holiday break.

A special display of literature has been arranged focusing on Anzac Day 25th April. Many students have been most interested in the books, chosen to reflect on Anzac Day, and have taken the opportunity to borrow them to read in the school holidays. This display will continue through to the end of the first week of Term 2. A collection of fiction and non-fiction books has also been gathered together for those interested in, and wishing to expand further their knowledge of war stories and history, all of which are ready for students to borrow.

Notices for the return of overdue books from Term 1 have been sent to students via email during the last week of term to remind students to bring those overdue items back to the Resource Centre. It will be a good opportunity to find any overdue books listed and return them in the first week of Term 2 before invoices for the cost of those books are sent to parents/guardians.
