Congratulations Flynn,

Flynn you have settled into your Foundation year at B.N.P.S so smoothly. In a short time, you have already built many meaningful friendships with your classmates. Students are quickly attracted to your easy-going nature and positive attitude. You are the kindest of friends and always include others and help where you can.

Flynn, you consistently show our school value of respect. Your manners are outstanding, and you are always kind in your words and actions. You are the first to say ‘Thank you, Mrs McLean’ but also the person waiting patiently for others to have their turn, showing your kind and caring nature.

Flynn, your love of learning is another of your strengths and you have shown this as you practise your Hot Words both at school and at home. You are making excellent progress and I am extremely proud of your success. You make great learning choices throughout the school day and always try your personal best. Thank you for being an exceptional role model for your peers.

Flynn, your positive, calm, and respectful nature makes you a more than worthy recipient of this award. It is well deserved and you should be very proud!

Congratulations Scarlett,

Scarlett is very deserving of this award for many reasons. Every day she is at school, Scarlett shows and upholds our school values. She shows respect towards the school community by speaking politely and kindly to all. Scarlett shows her classmates that she cares by including others in her games and helping people with their work, often without any prompting. She is thoughtful of other’s feelings and thinks of different ways she can make people feel included, safe and happy in our classroom.

Scarlett is a quiet and focused worker. She listens carefully to instructions and starts work straight away. Scarlett completes work to a high standard and always acts on the feedback given to improve her work. Scarlett displays a genuine love of learning and is always excited and interested in new topics. I love how enthusiastically she shares her knowledge and learning with the class.

Scarlett has many qualities that make her a wonderful role model to everyone but the ones I admire most are her determination to succeed and her positive attitude towards her learning. Congratulations, Scarlett, we are all very proud of your achievements.

Congratulations Abigail.

I had the pleasure of teaching Abigail when she was in Grade 1 and again this year. She was then and still is now a very active member of the class. Abigail is focussed and dependable. She always listens attentively to instructions.

Abigail has a vibrant personality and will light up a room with her smile and her presence. Abigail has a positive impact on all those around her. She never gives up whether it is in the classroom working on maths problems or when participating in class runs around the oval. Abigail never complains and will just get on with anything that is put before her.

Abigail has a wonderful sense of humour and great imagination. She also shows patience, especially with me when I don’t quite understand a joke or a comment!

Abigail will help anyone in any way she can. She strives to do her best in all aspects of her life, both at school and her interests outside of school. If there is any differing of opinions, Abigail is well placed to take all things into consideration and work out an amicable result.

Abigail not only displays all the BNPS School Values but also all the Learning Behaviours. She always persists with her tasks, challenges herself every day, is organised and works together with her peers to achieve her best at all she attempts.

Congratulations Isabelle,

Every morning Isabelle enters the classroom with a big smile and a positive attitude. She often has an interesting story to tell me which makes my day that much brighter. She adds so much positivity and warmth to our classroom, and her wonderful approach to her schooling is contagious.

Isabelle approaches all her learning with a similar manner, she consistently works hard and doesn’t give up when faced with challenges or obstacles. She is very organized, looks after her belongings and takes pride in her work. She is an attentive listener and is willing to try new things, even when they take her out of her comfort zone. Isabelle has a “can do” attitude who can always be relied upon to carry out an instruction to its fullest.

Isabelle always works wonderfully with others, and is respectful to teachers. She is kind, inclusive and compassionate, and consistently and willingly goes out of her way to assist all members of our classroom, making her a wonderful friend and classmate.

Isabelle demonstrates the school values of Care, Respect, Excellence and Community to a high standard. Isabelle applies our learning behaviors in every learning opportunity and strives to achieve her personal best and work towards her personal goals.

Isabelle it is an absolute pleasure to be your teacher this year, I look forward to the wonderful progress and learning to come.
