Xanadu - It's a Hit!

Congratulations to all the students, onstage and backstage, who are involved in our 2023 major production of Xanadu.

We are halfway through our six-show season and each of our three casts has produced outstanding, high-powered performances that have delighted our audiences, supported by our fantastic Xanadu Band, comprising Mrs Smith (Keyboard), Mrs Cooney (Piano), Mr Burke (Drums), Will Louis (Guitar) and Sam Gander (Guitar).

A show of this size and scale would simply not have been possible without the extended members of our Production Team:  Mr Ron Polglaze (set construction, lights and special effects), Mr Ben Farmer (lighting design/operation), Mr Kent Learned, Mr Matthew McKinnon and Sophia Morley (Sound), Mrs Annette Charter (Costumes), Mr John Cooney (IT Support), our Maintenance Team and our Canteen's Mr Matthew Swanston and Ms Natalie Meisenhelter (Supper Trays).

Finally, we thank our wonderful School community for their tremendous support of this production, and the wider Blue Mountains community members who have attended shows, many of whom took up the challenge to revisit their 1980s wardrobe with "stunning" results!

We are looking forward to the final three performances (are all sold out!).

Bravo, Team Xanadu - it has been a joy!
