From the Principal

Dear Blue Mountains Grammar School community,
Over the past week, we have had the opportunity to enjoy our Senior School production of Xanadu. I want to acknowledge the fantastic work of our staff and students, who have put in countless hours of hard work and dedication to make this event a reality.
In particular, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Cindy Pecovnik, Danie Evans, Anne Cranna and Michelle Airth for their tireless efforts in bringing this production to life. Their creativity, passion, and commitment to our students have shone through in the show's quality.
I would also like to congratulate our students for their entertaining performances, which have been captivating the audiences. They put in tremendous effort and dedication; we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments.
I want to thank our school community for the overwhelming support of this production. Your attendance, encouragement and enthusiasm have made this event a resounding success.
In other exciting news, we congratulate Mrs Debbie Smith, Head of Music, on graduating from the University of Sydney with a Masters of Indigenous Language. This achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication, and we are proud to have such an accomplished educator as part of our school community.
Furthermore, I am excited to announce the part-time return of Lauren Wade to our HSIE Faculty. Mrs Wade will teach senior Legal Studies, and we are delighted to have her back on board. I also advise that Mrs Lang Reid has informed us of her intention to move on. I want to thank her for her work at BMGS, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
Mr Steven Coote
