Athletics Carnival

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥

The 2023 Athletics Carnival was held on Thursday 27 April on a beautiful sunny Autumn day.

Students from all Houses competed with fantastic spirit and the number of competitors who participated in track and field events is to be commended.

There were some outstanding individual performances with 5 athletes breaking individual records:

Cleo Buttifant - High Jump

Elvis Conteh - 100m, 200m, High Jump

Daniel Okerenyang - 100m, Triple Jump

Charlotte Priest - 1500m, 800m

Lachlan Tracey - Discus

Outstanding athletes in each age group who took out their respective Age Champions were:

12 years - Sienna Kaminski and Elvis Conteh

13 years - Abbey Hunt and Nate Suckling

14 years - Kewa Kahuroa and Jones Russell

15 years - Inez McPherson and Peter Ucin

16 years - Philomena Grigg and Kade Lyons

Senior - Charlotte Priest and Will Voss

Congratulations to Carroll House who were crowned champions for 2023.

Thank you to all staff who adapted to unfamiliar roles making such a successful day possible.
