Polding Winter TRIALS

Last week we had a number of students travelling to Tamworth to compete in Winter Sports trials for selection in various Polding teams.   Hudson Diduszko, Callum Davis, Lincoln Hainsworth, Beau Biddle Jack Spagnolo, Billy Dean, Lachlan Dunkley and Judd Zinga.  It was very pleasing to hear the sportsmanship of all concerned was at a high level.   Special mention must go to Judd Zinga, Billy Dean (12's League)  and Lincoln Hainsworth  (11's League) who all made the Polding team.

Rugby Union

In week 2 Tuesday 2nd May we have our Senior teams competing in the Rugby 7's tournament.  This is a knockout competition to see who would progress to Western Regional Finals. Both teams did extremely well with McAuley winning the final against OPS. If successful at the regional finals the school would compete in Sydney for the state titles.

Rugby League

Thursday 4th May will see our Stage 2 and Stage 3 boys playing some rugby league at Brendon Sturgeon oval. Please see draw below. This is a non competitive competition and no winners will be announced on the day.

On Tuesday a number of students participated in the Cross Country in Coolah. The weather conditions were great and the track was in perfect condition. Congratulations to all students that participated and everyone should be proud of their efforts. All of the students tried their hardest and many improved on last year's effort. Thank you to all the parents who took the time to travel to Coolah and for your support and encouragement on the day.
