Joyfiana’s New Movie – Your Promise

One of our former International Students Joyfiana Suryakusuma, is now Director of Photography for an upcoming film production called Your Promise. Below is some information about the film:

Film Students from California State University, Northridge are in pre-production for the Senior Thesis film, Your Promise, are looking for your support to help fund our film. EDSC alumni, Joyfiana Suryakusuma is the Director of Photography for the thesis.

Our Story

This film is about the how a school shooting breaks a family. The story follows a 9-year-old boy, David, who died in an elementary school shooting while believing his father had broken his last promise. Before moving on, David is given a chance to revisit the physical world after the school shooting. David realizes that his parents' love will continue beyond his death.

Your Donation

To make this film possible, we are looking for any support to reach our goal of $35,000. This money will be spent on cast, locations, permits, food, and equipment rentals. The closing credits will include the logo and name of EDSC and your names in “Special Thanks”.
