Spoleto SPARK Award
The inaugural Spoleto SPARK Award is awarded to one Spoleto student per term who embodies the SPARK value focus for that term. Nominations are put forward by Homeroom Mentor Teachers who have observed the SPARK value shining through in their students.
In Term 1, 2023 we have been working to build the value of SPIRIT in Spoleto House.
Spoleto SPIRIT award criteria:
All members of Spoleto display our House value of spirit through participating and showing pride in the House and being passionate about how to improve House culture. The recipient of this award also shows commitment to living out the Franciscan values that underpin College life at Mount Alvernia, upholding the Spoleto House spirit statement to ‘serve all’.
TERM 1 RECIPIENT:
Isabella
At the Swimming Carnival Issy was a proud Spoleto cheerleader and was relentless in her efforts to rally the younger students to join her in cheers. She actively participated in events and was just so joyful and positive. In Home Room she is kind, happy and a quiet leader. She cares for the girls in Spoleto 2 and is a wonderful role model.
TERM 1 NOMINEES:
Grace
Year 7 for Home Room and house spirit. She volunteered to make out Spoleto 5 spirit poster for the HR activity and produced a Spoleto 5 water colour poster to display in our HR. She is always happy and positive.
Jessica
Jess has shown spirit by always willing to get involved. She dives into activities in homeroom. She was running around the court during bench ball. She was involved in all the activities at the swimming carnival, including winning her 50m heat after her goggles fell off. Jess does all this with enthusiasm and joy. She has a strong commitment to seeing Spoleto succeed.
Megan
Megan is a charismatic student who is a born leader. She always rallies students to support House and school initiatives and is also very mindful of the wellbeing of everyone in our Homeroom. Megan’s friendly disposition helps make Spoleto 3 Homeroom a safe and fun place for all its members.
