Salve a tutti!

This term, students learnt about the Carnival in Italy. They all chose a different region to discover how each region celebrates this major festival. Costumes, parades, gondola races, outdoor theatre, masquerade balls and special banquets are all part of the fun!

Food plays a major role, and the 20 regions have their own traditions. Students were asked to choose either a savoury dish or a sweet one and write the recipe.

Their last task was making masks. Here are some students showcasing their masks.
