Year 7 being creative

This term, Year 7 students have been engaged in an interdisciplinary STEM project in TAS, Maths and Science.The project is designed to promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and hence to help develop 21-century skills - Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication and Collaboration. The project sets the scenario that the students are the next generation of engineers working on the next big safety feature for passenger vehicles. Student build their dragster in TAS and measure the safety cabin in Maths then do experiments in Science by running the dragsters into walls, collecting distance and time data, slo-mo video of your crash tests, and damage observations.
