Committee Meeting

Our next Committee Meeting will be on Wednesday 12 June 2019 at the school staff room at 7.00pm.  Everyone is welcome so please come along.

Election Sausage Sizzle - Saturday 18 May 2019

We are running a fundraising Sausage Sizzle at the School on Election Day (Saturday 18 May 2019).  Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help.  Please make sure you tell all your friends and family to vote at our School and buy a sausage or two to support our great School.

School Disco  - Friday 21 June 2019

Details about our 2019 School Disco will be provided soon.  We will be calling out of volunteers so make sure you save the date.

Fundraising

We are currently raising funds for new seating for the front of the school.  Our senior students use this area during morning and lunchtime recess and need more places to sit, eat and socialise.  We need to raise at least $10,000 for the proposed seating.

Parents’ Association Membership 

A membership form to join the Parents’ Association has been sent out via Compass.  The membership fee is $5.00 per person.  We would appreciate all parents, guardians and carers to become members of the Parents’ Association as the membership fees are used to fund the Parents’ Association.  Last year funds from the membership fees were used to purchase a new BBQ and cover the costs of events such as the Welcome Picnic and the Parent Morning Teas.

Financial members are also entitled to vote at meetings and in elections and nominate for election to the Committee.

 Please take the time to complete the membership form and pay the $5.00 membership fee via Compass.

If you have started the membership process, but haven’t yet completed it or paid, please do so.  If you have any difficulties contact the office.

Year Level Representatives

We have suggested Year Level Representatives for each year level, but if you would like to help and share the role that would be great!  Our Year Level Representatives arrange get togethers for families during the year such as a dinner out or catch up at the park on the last day of term.  If you are interested in being a Year Level Representative we would love to hear from you so send us an email at parents.association.whps@gmail.com.
