Year 4 Camp

Once again, our Year 4 students had a wonderful time enjoying the fun packed activities at Camp Manyung in Mt Eliza. There were many highlights including the giant swing, the flying fox, archery, cooking damper on a campfire, initiative activities, the rock pool ramble down at the beach, the tree rolling activity, a night walk and the entertaining disco with ‘DJ Megga’, where the students got to show off their ‘enthusiastic’ dancing skills.

It was great to see everyone working together and encouraging each other on some of the more challenging activities and just having fun playing together during their free time each day. We were lucky to have such great weather for the camp, culminating in a warm day for our Amazing Race around the camp on Wednesday morning. After the camp, the students reflected on their many wonderful memories as they did various follow-up activities, which included a whole day constructing a scene from camp.
