Questacon

Questacon was an exciting experience for most ages around 12 - 18. Questacon had us build our own unique roller coasters to make a marble run down the track.  There was lots of exciting designs. One of the students used a VR headset and explored a roller coaster… that ran out of tracks! The students watched John Pike, one of the people who make the scariest roller coasters in the world! They showed us some people who made a roller coaster in their backyard, it took them 2 years to build.

Debating

On Monday 27 August the Junior Debating team went to Armidale City Public School and debated against the Armidale City Public School Thunder team.  We didn't win but it was a good debate.  The topic was "That parents and primary school teachers should limit children's screen time to 1 hour a day".  It was a close debate.  Armidale City Public School Thunder was a good team and were very friendly.  We all had a great time.  We also watched Newling Public School versing Armidale City Public School.  That was also a great debate.  The topic was "That all parents should have to do sport".
