Leasyl Richards - Curriculum

6th September  

NUDE FOOD DAY

Monday 16th September (the last Monday of the term) we are having a NUDE FOOD DAY.  We encourage all families to pack school lunches with no rubbish. This means no glad wrap, no paper, no plastic chip packets. (Ziplock bags are okay as long as they are going home and being re-used. 

A tally will be collected from each class with the class with the highest rubbish free lunches being awarded a prize.

Having less rubbish go to landfill is a great next step in our sustainability journey at Wheelers Hill Primary and we look forward to your continued support.

ICAS

This week we have begun our ICAS tests for 2019.  We have had a few hiccups on the administration side which we are endeavouring to sort out with ICAS. The tests have run smoothly and we should be able to provide you with results very soon.

CADBURY FUNDRAISER

Thank you to all the parents who have already returned their slips for Cadbury Chocolate Fundraiser. This fundraiser will assist us with our new school playground upgrade.

If you haven’t yet returned the reply slip indicating your preference of chocolates to sell or your willingness to provide a voluntary contribution can you please do so by next Monday 9th September. If we don’t receive the reply slip families will automatically receive a box of chocolates.
