Recycling Initiative.

Due to the great support we have had from schools so far, and the lockdown in Victoria, we have decided to extend our bread bag and tag collection period until the first week of Term 3!

Collection Period Extended

Schools in ACT, NSW, NT, QLD & VIC now have until Friday July 16th to collect and recycle as many bread bags and tags as you can. 

Schools in SA, TAS & WA now have until Wednesday July 20th to collect and recycle as many bread bags and tags as you can.

Chickens.

A few weeks ago, our GRUBS representatives collected votes from their classmates to have their say in naming our Orpington chickens.

The Year 3 binome students sorted and graphed the votes. The graphs were analysed with care to ensure accuracy, and the results were announced at assembly during Education Week.

Sparkle’s new friends are named Snowy, Sapphire and Midnight. We hope they have many happy years as part of the CJC school community.
