Writing Competition.

M@TERLIVRES: ÉCRIRE DES HISTOIRES… SPÉCIALES / STORY WRITING WITH A TWIST

Nos élèves de Grande Section et de CP ont participé à un concours d’écriture d’histoires avec d’autres écoles de l’AEFE. 

Présentation du projet

M@terlivres est un projet de lecture et d’écriture pour l’école maternelle ouvert à toutes les classes du Calvados et de la francophonie. En utilisant le principe du « roman baladeur », les classes de maternelle sont invitées à écrire et illustrer par groupe de trois classes des livres virtuels consultables sur internet.

Nous proposons l’amorce de l’histoire. Une classe écrit la suite puis l’envoie à une deuxième classe qui fait de même avec la troisième. La troisième classe transmet l’histoire à la première et cela recommence. Ainsi, chaque classe écrit deux épisodes de l’histoire.

• Les classes de Mme Breimeyer (GS) sont dans le groupe 1
• Les classes de Mlle Brandely (CP) sont dans le groupe 6

Our French Binational Program students in Prep and Grade 1 have participated in a writing competition with other schools within the AEFE network.

Project presentation

M@terlivres is a reading and writing project for the young primary school students and it open to all schools in Calvados and within the wide world French Community.

Using the principle of the “travelling story”, the classes are invited to write and illustrate virtual books in groups of three classes located in different locations, these can be viewed on the internet. 

We propose to start the story.  A class then writes what happens next in the story before sending it to the third class and return it to the first group for another round. This way, each class writes 2 episodes in the story.

• Mme. Breimeyer’s classes are in group 1
• Mlle. Brandely’s classes are in group 6
