Chalk Café
The Chalk Café breakfast and take away lunch services will continue this term. Please see below for the dates and menu items. Coffees ($2.50 or $2.00 with coffee card) will be available to purchase on Wednesday mornings before school from 8:00am to 8:30am.
Pre-order take away lunches will need to be booked two (2) days in advance. Pre-orders can be placed by calling Hospitality Coordinator, Susan Leach on 9495 8164.
Please note Chalk Café, is now operating as a cashless service. All purchases will need to be made via EFTPOS. We thank you for your cooperation.

The world class staff from WAAPA’s Jazz Department will be running free instrumental and vocal workshops to aspiring young musicians.
This is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the country’s finest jazz performers and educators, whilst getting a glimpse into life at WAAPA register here.
Percussion Pandemonium
Come and join us at WAAPA for Percussion Pandemonium – a free afternoon of fun, music, drums and supercharged percussion!
Led by Genevieve Wilkins, Tim White and Defying Gravity, WAAPA’s percussion teachers and students work with you in a fun series of hands-on workshops exploring ensemble playing, percussion technique, rhythm games, improvisation and world music register here.
Sensational Strings
Paul Wright, WAAPA’s Head of Strings, presents an amazing morning of string masterclasses, workshops and chamber music.
You’ll have fun, and learn lots as you explore string technique, phrasing, vibrato, rhythm and musicianship – and also enjoy playing wonderful chamber music register here.
Crazy for You
The 2022 June mid-year musical, held at His Majesty’s Theatre is the all-singing, all-dancing Crazy for You.
We have a special offer for groups of high school students; $50 tickets and one free complimentary ticket for every 10 tickets sold. Valid from the 11th – 17th June. Tickets are limited.

College of Electrical Training Open Day
The College of Electrical Training (CET) welcomes students and their families to their 2021 Open Day on Saturday 19 June at both the Joondalup and Jandakot campuses. Learn more about pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship pathways courses.

Excited about a career in the electrical industry?
Open Day is always an ideal opportunity for high school students considering a career in the electrical industry to find out more about studying to gain an electrical apprenticeship pathway at CET.
Electrical Group Training (EGT), the largest employer of electrical apprentices in the country, will also be in attendance to speak with students about potential employment opportunities.
Pop in with the family to enjoy a free sausage sizzle and giveaways.
Career Development is Everybody's Business
Parents are invited to join this online webinar where you will hear from education and training representative about:
- How they can best support young people;
- What employers are looking for;
- Where the jobs are; and
- Where to find up-to-date career pathway and labour market information.
A recording of the webinar will be available after the event for those who have registered.
ECU Early Offers 2022
Edith Cowan University (ECU) has now launched the Early Offer Program for 2022, to help 2021 Year 12 students with their journey to ECU.
This pathway gives students a conditional offer of a place at ECU before they start their exams. It is for Year 12s with expected ATARs or completing Certificate IV studies.
Year 12 students will need to know their predicted ATAR and/or provide ECU with a copy of their latest school results when applying for an ECU Early Offer.

Students are invited to get to know the highly qualified and caring faculty of Sheridan Institute of Higher Education and their range of undergraduate courses.
