African and Pasifika student clubs
Student Club – African and Pasifika Student Club
Many of our African and Pasifika students have been participating through student clubs. The objective of each club is to empower and build capacity through active leadership, support, increasing student agency and involvement. Students are coached by liaison staff and teachers to improve confidences, self-esteem, creativity, and positive interaction in a safe environment increasing their social connectedness.

DET Place Based Partnership Program
Well done to Year 10 students, Jossy Kassa, Gerardette Westerlund, and Anyang Wal who take part in the DET’s Place-Based Partnerships. Two external organisations - Nous Group and Ylab were appointed by the DET to conduct an evaluation on school programs. The students were selected based on their active involvement in programs and through student voice. Many thanks to Ms Webster, and Ms Menon for their support through this evaluation program. The NOUS and Ylab evaluation program with the DET will conducted over a 3 year period. All three students done an amazing job mapping key student engagement initiatives, and have represented our school very well.
