Sport

As you all know, the organisation of the Sport program has been severely disrupted with numerous postponements and cancellations due to Covid restraints. After lots of consultation with our Division schools, we have been able to come up with satisfactory dates in Term 3 for all our delayed sports, with the exception of a couple of AFL teams that we could not organise in time or that clashed with an internal school event. The new dates are all listed below.

Sport Results

AFL – senior boys

Unfortunately, we had to play with only 12 players due to a number of no shows by students who said they would play. The boys played really well only going down by 10 goals.

Soccer

Year 8 boys – drew with Sunbury Downs 2-2 but lost to Kurunjang 2-3, lost to Staughton 1-3 and lost to Gisborne 2-3

Intermediate Girls – with only 8 players defeated Sunbury 9-0, defeated Sunbury Downs 1-0 and defeated Kurunjang 2-1 to qualify for the Region final

Intermediate Boys – defeated Sunbury 3-0, drew with Kurunjang 1-1 but lost the final to Staughton 1-3.
