Remote Learning

I hope everyone is doing well with remote learning and the inevitable juggling of work and other commitments. It's been nice to see parents supporting one another with Showbie help and the like on their class WhatsApp groups. Let's keep communicating with each other and we will get through this together!

Huge news - grounds improvements have started!

As I write this, there are diggers at RMPS starting work on the first project from our landscape master plan - adding shade, greenery and seating next to the basketball court! We are hoping that when the kids return to school, it will all be finished and there will be an amazing new space for our kids to explore. Our school has been in need of additional shade and nature, and with this project, that's exactly what we are going to get!

We are so happy that this project could be brought forward due to the lockdown. And we are so thankful to all the RMPS families for their support with fundraising activities and at our most recent school fair - without money raised at these events, our school would not have been able to afford these grounds improvements. Please keep supporting the PFA fundraising activities where you can, so we can do more to make our school environment better for our kids!

It was a shame that our working bee couldn't go ahead last weekend, however we will work with the school once the lockdown is over to figure out when would be the best time to organise a new date.

Parent's Night - pausing of ticket sales

Unfortunately, we've had to place a pause on the sale of tickets for Parent's Night due to the uncertainty of the lockdown.

Once the current restrictions are lifted, we will put out a Compass message to let everyone know what will happen with the Parent's Night. We still have our fingers crossed that it will be able to go ahead, but it's possible that we will have a lower cap on our numbers or need to make modifications to the night in some way. We'll just have to wait and see.

The PFA is here for our parent and carer community.
