Level 1/2

We hope everyone has had a wonderful week!

In Maths we are learning about measurement, using informal units such as Unifix to measure items around the classroom. We have discussed the importance of consistent measurement and have introduced the concept of rulers and centimetres.

In literacy we have been using our writing tool kits to expand our vocabulary and learning to self-correct our spelling. We have also been learning about the 6 + 1 traits of writing and sizzling starts to enhance our writing.

Our inquiry subject is ‘Look, Listen’; we have been learning about natural vs artificial light and the difference between the sounds we hear inside the classroom compared to the sounds we hear in the playground.
