Junior School Council
Late in 2019 whilst all the grades were cleaning and packing up their classrooms a small group of dedicated students were busily going about writing applications to apply for the position of Junior School Council. The quality of the applicants was as per usual very high and a credit to all of the Greenvale Primary School community. It is my pleasure to introduce the successful applicants for 2020.
Year 3 - Cinar and Jouri
Year 4 - Frankie and Nisa
Year 5 - Jemima and Hrayhaan
Year 6 - Sabrina, Canyon, Lily, Aydin, Srimijun and Efsa
The Junior School Council has had a busy beginning to the year and have enjoyed meeting together to learn what their roles and responsibilities are for the year. They are excited to represent the student population at Greenvale Primary School. The Junior School Council meet once a week to discuss student issues, share ideas and plan community events.
Grip Leadership Conference
On the 17th March the Junior School Council and House Captains will be travelling to the city by train to attend the GRIP Leadership Conference. This will be a fantastic opportunity for our student leaders to understand what each of them can bring to their roles in 2020.
Harmony Day
On Friday the 21st of February the Junior School Council have helped promote Harmony Day and organise a fundraiser supporting Wildlife Victoria. It is hoped all students are able to wear something orange and bring a donation to support our chosen charity.
