Across the Principal's Desk

Welcome back to everyone for the final term of 2019 – it won’t be long and we’ll be talking about Christmas. We have lots on offer for students this term beyond the normal classroom teaching and learning. Our Year 10 students head off to Melbourne for a valuable metropolitan experience and our Year 8 students have their camp along the coast. We’ll have a Graduation Dinner and a Presentation Evening as the term progresses. We will also have sporting events and several other subject-based excursions before we finish the year. And lots more on top of all that!

Our VCE students have exams in a few weeks and are busy preparing to give their best effort. I encourage all of our students to finish the year off strongly so that they can look back over the four terms and be proud of what they have achieved. Our values and beliefs in relation to High Expectations are particularly important to remember at this time of year – Responsibility, Commitment and Motivation. If we can all make an exerted effort to achieve in these areas, then we give ourselves the best chance for success!

Enjoy the last quarter as much as Richmond did a few weeks ago but remember… they worked hard until the final siren and were rewarded for their efforts.
