Only days to go now!

With only days until our French Village Fair, preparations are nearly complete and fingers are crossed for fine sunny weather on the day.

All proceeds raised from the Fair are going to support the life transforming programs of our sister community Sophie’s Farm, located within the poverty-stricken region of Catarman in the Philippines. This event presents us with an important opportunity as a community to make a real difference to what is vital RSCJ work.

Fair Milestones

There are a number of exciting Fair milestones reached so far that we wanted to share with you including:

• Forecast 4,000 people to attend
• East Malvern Community Bank Branch of the Bendigo Bank confirmed as our major sponsor
• Estimated 250+ volunteers will work on the day and in the lead up to the Fair
• 36 stalls and rides confirmed
• $35,000 in cash sponsorship provided by over 25 businesses and School families
• $40,000 worth of Silent Auction items secured
• Huge numbers of pre-loved clothing, books, games, toys and other items donated

Live Entertainment

In a further highlight, our live entertainment will be student-led and provided on the day. School pride will also go on the line in the Battle of the Bands, where our Sacré Cœur student musos will compete against other local schools. Commencing at 1pm, it will be a musical battle for the ages!
