Whole School Assembly

A whole school assembly was held on Monday March 15 to present Age Group swimming champions with their medals.

The Christie Hallahan Encouragement Awards were also presented to two students for a fantastic effort not just in the pool but for their contributions on the day.

Well done Jadeen Townend, nominated for her bravery to jump in the pool and give everything a go despite not being the strongest swimmer. Jadeen displayed a great attitude towards participation and supporting others. Also commendable effort by Jackson Dearden stepped up to the responsibility to organize his team in the absence of the house captain. He then continued to help the captain as well as supporting and encouraging his team throughout the day, He entered as many races as he could to gain points for his team even when he was exhausted and cold. Jackson offered many times if there was anything he could help with and offered assistance when he saw the need

Congratulations to all 2021 medal recipients and of course to Wallce House for winning the Swimming Shield.

SRC Year level representatives were also presented with their badges, they are pictured below with Jackson and Imogen, 2021 College Captains.

Senior students had the opportunity to discuss issues of inclusiveness and other topics during the week of Harmony Day.

Primary students explored the diversity of toys and games from around the world as well as exploring diversity activities through art, story , song and sport.

School Production

Edenhope College students are in the very early stages of a School Production of Peter Pan which will be performed in Term 3. Auditions have begun and parts will be given out before the end of term so that students have the chance to read the scripts over the holidays. Auditions for extra parts or those not case due to absences will take place during the first week back next term, so that rehearsals can start asap! Watch this space for further updates! Lots of students and staff are very excited to be working on this. A big thank you to Mrs Stringer for making it happen!
