News from the Resource Centre

Congratulations to Zaina Khurrum from Year 7 and Princess Canapi from Year 9 who were elected Book Club captains at our first meeting last week.  Book Club meets Monday lunchtime Week B – come along if you want to meet with others who love books and reading.  Our student Library Monitors have started their regular shifts and are kept busy each recess and lunch lending books and shelving returns.  

Book Return Challenge

Speaking of returned books - as we enter into the last few weeks of term it’s time to dig out the Resource Centre books you’ve been meaning to take back.  With all the lockdowns last year many students did not get a chance to return their books and lots of girls favourite reads are still out on loan.  So parents please remind your daughters to put their overdue books in their schoolbag to return. There are no fines for overdue books (unlike public libraries) – we just want the books back so others can read them.
