In recognition of her ability to give a sense of the time period she is writing in, by choosing appropriate vocabulary. Steph wrote her historic fiction piece using language that would have been in familiar use in colonial times, to allow the reader to effectively visualise the scene. Amazing writing, Steph.

 In recognition of her effective use of figurative language in her historic fiction piece. Alannah has made excellent word choices and used these to paint a picture of the characters, enabling the reader to visualise what was happening. She also willingly listened to feedback offered to help her improve her piece. Well done, Alannah.

6YGemma In recognition of the meticulous detail she put into her design of a 3D rabbit. Gemma applied her knowledge of 3D shapes to create nets of each shape and used iMovie to create a stop-motion video.
6YLincoln In recognition of the precision he showed in creating his 3D shapes. This included the drawing of the nets of shapes and the craftsmanship in his construction of the cubes. Perfection!

FRENCHIsabella (FJ)In recognition of Her participation in French class last week. Isabella works hard to follow along with our French song using actions and singing with her beautiful French voice. She always does her best to participate during class time. Bravo Isabella – Tu es fantastique!
