Steph wrote her historic fiction piece using language that would have been in familiar use in colonial times, to allow the reader to effectively visualise the scene. Amazing writing, Steph. In recognition of her effective use of figurative language in her historic fiction piece. Alannah has made excellent word choices and used these to paint a picture of the characters, enabling the reader to visualise what was happening. She also willingly listened to feedback offered to help her improve her piece. Well done, Alannah. |
| 6Y | Gemma | In recognition of the meticulous detail she put into her design of a 3D rabbit. Gemma applied her knowledge of 3D shapes to create nets of each shape and used iMovie to create a stop-motion video. |
