Sentral Parent Portal
KKHS uses Sentral Parent Portal, to provide parents with discreet information about student progress in our school. A smartphone app version, "Sentral for Parents" is also available for download for both Apple and Android devices. For help in setting up the app see https://info.sentral.com.au/new-app-getting-started We encourage parents to use the app as it allows notifications of events, absences to be explained and includes a calendar, newsletters and resources. Canvas
All students have free access to our Canvas Learning Management System. Canvas is an online platform that makes teaching and learning easier and more engaging. Teachers and students collaborate securely online with 24/7 access available from any internet connected device. Structured learning content, assignments, teacher feedback and notifications are all easily accessible within Canvas. We encourage all parents to register and access Canvas as observers to stay up to date with student progress. Both computer and smartphone app versions are available. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
BYOD is a school policy that enhances digital capacity in students to ready them for the future workplace. Students bring a device to make learning deeper, more personalised and student-centred. Many students in our school continue to participate in our BYOD, Loan Laptop and Day Loan Chromebook Programs, which is great to see. Please encourage students to always use a protective case to avoid damage when using a device for learning. For those students who do not have a laptop, we have a great equity program that students can access in HUBs. For more information see

We have recently updated the homepage of our school website to make it easier for parents to find school information. The new menu, shown below, includes links to the live school calendar, as well as technology and uniform advice.
