From the Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians
Confirmation
The 2020 Yr 6 students from St Bede's will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation tonight and next Thursday evening. I ask that you keep the candidates in your prayers. as this is a special time for both the candidate and their families. A special thank you to Ms Reed, Fr John and last years Yr 6 teachers for helping prepare the candidates.
Prep Enrolments
Prep enrolments for 2022 are now open. If you are a current family and have a sibling starting Prep in 2022 I ask that you complete an enrolment form ASAP and return it to Chris in the office. Forms are able to be downloaded off the website or a hard copy can be obtained from the office. Thank you for your assistance with this. Our first Open day will be held on the 18th March between 9am-1pm . If you are unable to attend during this time please contact the office to arrange another time.
Pick Up
I remind our community that face masks must be worn if a distance of 1.5m can not be obtained between adults. This includes even when outdoors such as during pick up.
Pupil Free Day
A reminder that Friday March 5th is a pupil free day. The staff will be involved in Professional learning on this day.
School Fees
School fees were sent out to all families this week. Thank you to those families who have already paid. The admin system being used this year is different from previous years and our admin staff are working overtime to understand the complexities of the new software.
The admin package is one that all catholic schools will be expected to be used by the end of this year. Thank you for your understanding if glitches occur from time to time such as the chrome books being left off the Fees for those students in Yrs 3-6.
Shrove Tuesday ( A week later)
A huge thank you on behalf of our community to the parents who assisted with providing pancakes for all the students on Tuesday. The smell of fresh pancakes could be smelt throughout the school.
Swimming
Congratulations to the students who represented St Bede's at the district swimming carnival on Wednesday. We are very proud of your efforts as a community. Please read the swimming section of todays newsletters for further details
