Year 3 Maths Spotlight 

In Year 3, we have spent the first few weeks of Term 2 exploring Place Value of numbers up to 10,000. The students have been learning concepts such as Partitioning, Expanded Notation, and how to think flexibly about Place Value. They have been playing a variety of games to demonstrate their understanding of these concepts, and they’ve been having a lot of fun while doing it! 

 If you’d like to try your hand at some of these games, they’ll be set up and able to be played in Room 5 on our Education Week Showcase Night.
